How the draw worked

Draw procedure

• There were four seeding pots in accordance with the coefficient ranking list, with the seven countries with the highest coefficients in Pot A, the next seven in Pot B, and so on.

Pot A: Portugal (holders), Germany, Greece, Spain, Italy, Republic of Ireland, France

Pot B: Scotland, Serbia, Israel, Russia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Netherlands

Pot C: England, Ukraine, Turkey, Wales, Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Norway

Pot D: Belgium, Croatia, Romania, Slovenia, Denmark, POland, Cyprud

• No team could play a nation they met in the qualifying round. Due to previous decisions of the UEFA Executive Committee, Russia and Ukraine cannot be drawn together.

• Each group comprises one side from each pot, with the hosts then appointed to hold the mini-tournaments, which must be completed by 19 May.

• The group winners qualify to join hosts Armenia in the finals from 14 to 27 July.
