Ludovic Blas, France midfielder
It's a dream how this tournament went for us. We expected a lot when we came here and then the defeat against England was a big disappointment. We learned the right things from that game, though.
Today, our first goal was to make sure that we didn't concede, that we didn't give Italy any chances. We managed that.
Up front we've been great all tournament. It's no coincidence that we've scored more goals than anyone else [15]. We were on fire in attack.
Now I'm just happy and really proud. We've worked hard for two years, all of us all together, and now we've got our reward.
Lucas Tousart, France captain
I'm thrilled, totally happy. This was a big performance from every single one of us, the whole team. Every player and every member of staff has contributed to this tonight.
Before the game I had a feeling in my gut that we would win this game by a big margin. I hadn't expected it to be 4-0, though!
For all of us, this is a first big title. I'm looking forward to taking the cup home and returning to France as a European champion.
Filippo Romagna, Italy captain
I'm very sad it turned out this way. Our opponents were too strong. The French have much more experience and that showed tonight.
However, I can be proud of the team. We've had a great tournament and it's been an excellent experience. For that I am glad.
