• The Puskás Akadémia Pancho Aréna is a new venue that is the home ground of top-flight outfit Puskás Akadémia FC.

• The stadium's first match was the final of the 2014 Puskás Cup, an invitational Under-17 tournament; Ferenc Puskás's former club Real Madrid CF were 1-0 winners against home side Puskás Akadémia.

• The maiden Hungarian First League match followed five days later, Videoton FC winning 3-1 against Puskás Akadémia with the visitors' Hungarian international Nemanja Nikolić scoring the first league goal at the ground from the penalty spot midway through the first half.
