Israel have completed the 28-team lineup for the 2011/12 UEFA European Under-19 Championship elite round having been confirmed as the best third-placed team over the 12 qualifying round groups.
Eliahu Ohana's Israel finished behind the Czech Republic and Serbia in Group 5, but progress by virtue of their record against the top two in the section. Georgia and Turkey claimed the last two automatic places on offer in next month's elite round, finishing first and second in Group 9 – the final qualifying section to finish on Wednesday.
Holders Spain, 2010 champions France and England enter the competition in next spring's elite round, the draw for which will be held at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on 29 November at 11.45CET. The 28 countries involved will be drawn into seven groups of four, with the section winners joining hosts Estonia in next July's eight-team final tournament.
