The draw for the final round of the 10th UEFA European Under-19 Championship was held on Wednesday in Bucharest, Romania.
The draw was conducted by Jim Boyce – first vice-chairman of the UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee – together with the technical director of Romania's national youth sides, Miodrag Belodedici, and his former international team-mate Gheorghe Hagi.
The seven elite round group winners, plus the host country, Romania, have been drawn into two groups of four – Group A: Romania, Czech Republic, Greece, Republic of Ireland; and Group B: Serbia, Turkey, Spain, Belgium.
All group matches and the semi-finals will be played in the Bucharest area, in the cities of Chiajna, Mogosoaia, Berceni and Buftea, with the final taking place at the Concordia Stadium in Chiajna on Monday 1 August. The full match schedule will be released next week on UEFA.com. Eurosport will broadcast live nine games, including the semi-finals and final.
Media representatives wishing to cover the finals should contact the Romanian Football Federation (FRF). Applicants should request accreditation via email to paul.zaharia@frf.ro, indicating 'UNDER-19' in the subject header. The deadline for application is Monday 11 July.
