France striker Kévin Monnet-Paquet is the early pacesetter at the top of the scoring charts after two matches at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship thanks to his hat-trick against Serbia, although nine players are close behind with two goals apiece.
Goals aplenty
There have been 29 goals in the first eight matches and RC Lens striker Monnet-Paquet helped himself to three of them against Serbia on Monday, while Nenad Marinković and Dušan Tadić both struck twice on Wednesday as Serbia got back into Group B contention with a 6-2 win against Russia, whose goals both came from Vladimir Dyadyun. Four players, meanwhile, have struck in both matches to date: Serbia's Rodoljub Marjanović, Greece striker Kostas Mitroglou, Spain's Aarón Ñíguez and Mesut Özil of Germany.
