UEFA European Under-19 Championship holders Spain face Croatia, Poland and last season's runners-up Greece after the elite round draw was made.
The draw made by UEFA Youth and Amateur Committee chairman Jim Boyce and the captain of last season's England squad, Tom Thorpe, saw Spain pooled in Group 4 hosted by Poland, while other interesting fixtures include a rematch of the 2011 U17 final between the Netherlands and Germany in Norway in Group 5. There should also be plenty of excitement when England play Scotland and Ukraine face Russia. Spain, Serbia and Turkey are entering at this round after receiving byes.
The hosts will now be selected for each mini-tournament in May and June. Only the group winners will advance to join hosts Lithuania in the finals from 20 July to 1 August 2013, with the draw on 14 June.
