Slovenia will stage the 2012 UEFA European Under-17 Championship final tournament while Slovakia are to host the 2013 edition.
The selections were made at today's UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Minsk, Belarus. Slovenia and Slovakia will follow in the footsteps of Serbia, which will stage the final tournament of this season's competition next May; the qualifying round is currently being played.
It will be the first time that the Football Association of Slovenia (NZS) has hosted a UEFA final tournament. The Slovak Football Association (SFZ) was previously the organiser of the 2000 UEFA European U21 Championship.
