Slovenia and the Netherlands were drawn in Group B and are matched on the first day in Maribor. In the same section, Poland and Belgium play in Lendava to kick off both the tournament and the extensive live television coverage. Later that day – 4 May – Georgia meet last season's runners-up Germany in Ljubljana to begin Group A, followed by France against Iceland in Domzale.
Fixtures continue on 7 May, with the Netherlands taking on neighbours Belgium. The groups end three days later when the programme includes a game between former champions Germany and France. The semi-finals on 13 May and the showpiece match three days later will be played at Ljubljana's ŠRC Stožice stadium.
