Smarason winner
The game looked to be heading for a draw but Iceland substitute Arnor Smarason, who had only been on the pitch 12 minutes, popped up a minute into stoppage time to snatch a priceless three points.
England match
Lúkas Kostic's side will hope to spring another surprise on Friday when they meet England, who also won their opening game today against Armenia. Meanwhile the Norwegians will try and get their campaign back on track against Armenia. Only the top side in the group will reach the eight-team final tournament in France this May.
