England maintain perfect record

Group B reaction: uefa.com gauges the mood of England and Portugal after they reached the last four.

ENGLAND 1-0 AUSTRIA:
John Peacock, England

"Obviously I'm delighted again, particularly as we've won the group with three victories. We knew Austria would be a very tough game, and so it proved. They're a very well-organised team, two banks of four, very disciplined and hard to break down. I thought we were into them from the off, attacked from the start and were the better side in the first half, and Austria did what we expected - they sat back and waited for chances to hit us on the counterattack. Austria did have a spell when they looked dangerous, but the second half I thought we controlled the game and deserved to win."

Paul Gludovatz, Austria
"We are not so disappointed as two positive things remain. It's only the first competitive match we have lost in nine fixtures - we had five victories and three draws before today's match. The second positive is that we have been able to compete with the biggest teams and stay in contention until the 'sixth half' [second half of the third group game] of this tournament. As I always said, we didn't have the required quality in attack and we have relied on only one player to score goals but this time Erwin Hoffer wasn't successful. But for the future, I can guarantee that we will develop and improve the quality of our attack. We will start to work on this tomorrow with the aim of being part of the Under-19 final round."

PORTUGAL 4-0 UKRAINE:
Carlos Dinis, Portugal

"Finally my team found its quality and the players managed to play tactically and technically. We were also luckier in front of goal, but we were strong as a team and I think we have produced a good performance. I have to congratulate my players, as we came into this match with nothing to lose. We tried to think only of winning the game, to come up with a good performance because, above all, it was our reputation that we were playing for."

Viktor Kaschey, Ukraine
"The result says it all, but looking at the general picture of the game I don't think it was fair. We tried hard but I must admit that Portugal are individually stronger than us. In the second half we played almost our best football of the tournament, although we also had a good period against Austria. This tournament showed that we still have a lot to learn and for this we must qualify every year and not just occasionally. Our main goal was to qualify for the final tournament, which we achieved, but a lack of individual skills - and in certain games, also luck - resulted in three defeats, which obviously leaves us disappointed."
