Group 13: England beat 'Auld Enemy'

England overcame arch-rivals Scotland 3-1 in the Group 13 qualifying mini-tournament for the UEFA European Under-17 Championship.

Gardener opener
Two goals in the first 19 minutes put England on their way to victory, Ross Gardener netting on 12 minutes and Wayne Routledge doubling the advantage seven minutes later.

Foy goal
Robbie Foy briefly pulled Scotland back into the game with a 65th-minute goal but Routledge's second goal on 70 minutes put the hosts in pole position to qualify for the finals in Denmark with a game against Lithuania still to come on Sunday.
