Platini to make U17 draw

Michel Platini and Jim Boyce will make the draw for the 2005/06 UEFA European Under-17 Championship final round in Luxembourg on 6 April.

May finals
French legend Platini, a UEFA Executive Committee member, will conduct the draw along with UEFA Youth and Amateur Committee chairman Jim Boyce for the tournament hosted by Luxembourg from 3-14 May. The pair also did the draw for the 2005 U19 finals in Boyce's home nation of Northern Ireland.

Elite round
Luxembourg will be joined in the hat by the seven Elite round group winners. Those fixtures will take place this spring, with reigning champions Turkey among the 28 contenders.
