1 Odisseas Vlachodimos (VfB Stuttgart, goalkeeper)
Odi is a very good goalkeeper with strong body language who has very good qualities on the line but also in the box.
2 Mitchell Weiser (1. FC Köln, midfielder)
Mitch is our DJ in the team and we trust his taste in music. On the pitch he's very fast and very secure with the ball. When he's running with the ball you can barely stop him.
3 Cimo Röcker (SV Werder Bremen, defender)
In the team we say that Cimo has the lungs of a horse because he runs and runs and he's never tired! He's a very calm person but he can also be very loud sometimes.
4 Koray Günter (Borussia Dortmund, defender)
Koray has a very calm, very shy personality but on the pitch he can be very aggressive, strong in his tackles and very concentrated in his play. He's a great defender for our team.
5 Nico Perrey (DSC Arminia Bielefeld, defender)
Nico is also someone who doesn't talk TOO much and he has shown great development on the pitch in recent times.
6 Robin Yalcin (VfB Stuttgart, midfielder)
Robin is the link between midfield and defence; he's a very important player. He helps me leading the team and I can depend on him whenever I need to organise something or tell the team something.
8 Emre Can (FC Bayern München, midfielder)
As team captain I try to follow the manager's instructions as well as I can. I can also become very loud on the pitch. I work with all my qualities for the team and I'm trying to become a complete player.
9 Samed Yesil (Bayer 04 Leverkusen, forward)
We call Samed 'Gerd' for Gerd Müller because of he scores non stop. His goals are very important to us. He has a very happy personality, he likes to be around his friends and have fun.
11 Patrick Weihrauch (FC Bayern München, forward)
Patrick is an offensive player who can play right midfield as well as striker. He has good technique and speed and can be very dangerous if he wins the ball in front of goal. One more thing – Patrick is our Prince Charming!
12 Cedric Wilmes (Borussia Dortmund, goalkeeper)
Cedric is physically very strong and a great replacement for Odi, as we've seen in Egypt [in November's friendly matches]. He is also a penalty killer!
13 Kaan Ayhan (FC Schalke 04, defender)
Kaan is a fun guy and we saw his qualities in the semi-final against Denmark when he has a free-kick – we all thank him for that goal.
14 Nils Quaschner (FC Hansa Rostock, forward)
He fights from the first until the last minute. He is quick, he is athletically strong and we saw his offensive qualities against Denmark.
15 Okan Aydin (Bayer 04 Leverkusen, forward)
Okan is a very quick player who is technically very strong and fast as well. Whenever a beautiful girl comes along, he'll take a good look!
16 Sven Mende (VfB Stuttgart, midfielder)
Sven is a very smart player with good vision and very good technique. He can play position No10 or No6.
17 Jeremy Toljan (VfB Stuttgart, defender)
We know we can depend on him. He was called up after [Levent] Aycicek's injury and he was there. He gave 100% and we we didn't miss out.
18 Fabian Schnellhardt (1. FC Köln, midfielder)
We say in the team that Fabian has a very strong left foot – a left hammer. He's very good in quick combinations so it's fun to play with him. Like most of us, he's a fun guy to be with – he's always in a good mood.
21 Erich Berko (VfB Stuttgart, forward)
Erich has taken great steps in recent months. When he has the ball he uses his body very cleverly so you can't take it off him very easily. He is one of the special guys in our team.
22 Koray Kacinoglu (MSV Duisburg, defender)
We call him [Gennaro] Gattuso in the team because he's very strong in the tackle. Off the pitch he is the guy who motivates the players, he keeps them going. He also initiates the parties after the match!
