Lehtonen double
Victory was crucial for Finland, who were beaten 2-1 by Romania on Thursday, while Wales had been held 2-2 by Elite round Group 6 hosts Turkey despite leading twice. Finland were in control by the 25-minute mark, by which stage Juho Lehtonen had scored twice, and Nikolai Alho added a third early in the second half. Finland will reach the finals in Germany if they overcome Turkey on Tuesday and Romania are denied victory by Wales.
