Malta stages the UEFA European Under-17 Championship from 9 to 21 May 2014. They will be joined by elite round group winners the Netherlands, Scotland, Turkey, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany and England in the last eight-team final tournament before the expansion to 16 for Bulgaria 2015.

Not only will it be Malta's debut hosting a UEFA final tournament, their team will be the first to represent their nation in any UEFA final tournament.
