Shakhtar's Kryventsov: I can only praise my team

FC Shakhtar Donetsk coach Valeriy Kryventsov admitted Chelsea FC were deserved UEFA Youth League winners, yet his side leave Switzerland with heads held high.

Kryventsov: Chelsea 'deserve their victory'

Valeriy Kryventsov paid tribute to his team's refusal to give up as FC Shakhtar Donetsk pushed Chelsea FC all the way in the 2014/15 UEFA Youth League final before losing 3-2.

Ultimately, he admitted, a ten-minute spell at the start of the second half did for the Ukrainian outfit and Chelsea were "deserved" winners, yet his side will take a great deal from the experience.
