Substitute Oleksandr Zubkov scored three minutes from time as FC Shakhtar Donetsk earned the points in a gripping UEFA Youth League match in Ukraine.
The hosts were ahead inside three minutes when Manchester United FC's Liam Grimshaw directed the ball into his own goal from an Olexandr Zinchenko free-kick. Shakhtar had the better of the first half, but United responded after the break and Nicky Butt's team levelled with a James Wilson header from Andreas Pereira's right-wing cross.
However, two 82nd-minute substitutions from Valeriy Kryventsov transformed the game as Rostyslav Rusyn and Zubkov appeared – and it was Zubkov who won it with three minutes left. "In the first half we played really well," said Kryventsov. "My team did the right things and controlled the ball."
