Germany, who claimed top spot on Matchday 5, found the breakthrough in the 76th minute as Felix Nmecha guided in his first senior international goal from close-range. Ermedin Demirović's deft finish helped Bosnia and Herzegovina claim a point after a strong second half showing. The Stuttgart attacker was quickest to the rebound in the 67th minute and headed past Mark Flekken, who had produced a sharp save to deny Edin Džeko. The Oranje, who booked their quarter-final spot on Matchday 5, had enjoyed a strong opening period and made that pressure count when Brian Brobbey flicked a header past debutant goalkeeper Martin Zlomislić, but Demirović's leveller handed a second point of the campaign to Bosnia and Herzegovina, who finished bottom of Group A3.
