KS Partizani 1-4 Hapoel Tel-Aviv (Tel-Aviv win 5-1 on aggregate)
Hapoel Tel-Aviv stated their intent for this season's UEFA Cup with a devastating display against Albania's KS Partizani.
Four more
Despite only winning the home leg by the narrowest of margins, Tel-Aviv scored four times in tonight's return to eventually come through the qualifying round with ease. The Israeli side are hopeful of improving on last season's achievement when they reached the quarter-finals of the competition, before going out to Milan AC.
Balili double
Omri Afek put Tel-Aviv on their way in the 28th minute, but Partizani did manage to draw level on the night through Brazilian defender Marcelo Brachini just seven minutes later. However, that was as good as it would get for the Albanians. Pini Balili scored a quickfire double in the 73rd and 84th minutes before Kfir Udi wrapped up the win three minutes from time.
