Balakov blow for Stuttgart

The veteran Bulgarian misses the trip to Riga with a stomach injury. "Balakov will be out for an indefinite period," said a Stuttgart spokesman.

Goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand, midfielders Heiko Gerber and Jens Todt, and striker Sean Dundee are out injured, while Silvio Meissner and Jochen Seitz are suspended.
