Kucherevskyi had the operation for ischemia, a condition which restricts the flow of blood around the body. The procedure was deemed a success and the coach is said to be in a good condition. Although he will miss Dnipro's Ukrainian Cup quarter-final against FC Tavriya Simferopol this week, he is expected to be fit for the UEFA Cup return match against Dinamo on 27 November. Dnipro lead 2-0 from the first leg in Zagreb.
