Article body
AJ Auxerre will be without both first-choice wing-backs for Thursday's UEFA Cup match against Aalborg BK after Jean-Sébastien Jaurès joined Johan Radet on the sidelines.
Broken bone
Jaurès sustained the injury during last Wednesday's 3-1 Ligue 1 defeat by AS Saint-Etienne, although he did play in Saturday's goalless home draw against FC Istres before undergoing tests yesterday which revealed a broken bone in his foot. The right-sided defender will be in plaster for two weeks with another fortnight's recovery time.
Draw in Denmark
Like Radet, who is out for six months with a cruciate ligament injury, Jaurès will not be available for selection on Thursday, his 27th birthday, when AaB arrive in France for the second leg of the first-round tie. The first match in Denmark ended 1-1.
