Having beaten Hearts 3-0 at home two weeks ago, Feyenoord know that three more points in Hungary would take them to the verge of the round of 32. However, they are without midfielder Sebastián Pardo, who suffered another hamstring injury in training this week, left-back Ramon van Haaren and winger Leonardo.

Ferencváros bow
Ferencváros sat out Matchday 1, but are six points clear at the top of the Hungarian First Division and have no injury worries. Striker Robert Vagner has recovered from a knock and could be deployed in a three-man forward line with Thomas Sowunmi and Aleksandar Bajevski or Marek Penksa.

Coach Csaba László said: "We must feel that we are playing for the whole of Hungarian football. We feel that Feyenoord are looking down at us. We would like to think that after the game they would look up and say 'that is a great side'."

Robertson at helm
Meanwhile, new Hearts manager John Robertson may have striker Mark de Vries available at Murrayfield after he missed the defeat in Rotterdam with a toe injury, but midfielder Phil Stamp is struggling for the visit of UEFA Intertoto Cup winners Schalke with a calf complaint.

Schalke, with a 1-1 home draw with FC Basel 1893 under their belts, could be without flu victim Levan Kobiashvili and defender Mladen Krstajic (groin). Coach Ralf Rangnick, who may deploy Hamit Altintop in the middle and Tomasz Waldoch at the back, said: "We lost two points against Basel and we have to go for three tonight."
