The 27-year-old Dutchman has torn muscle fibre and will sit out Saturday's Bundesliga trip to Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Oude-Kamphuis, who has missed just one league game this term, has stepped out of his usual midfield position to play at right-back this season. Better news for Schalke coach Ralf Rangnick is that central defender Mladen Krstajic has returned to training after a groin injury. Schalke lie second in Group A with two fixtures left in their programme.
