Trio poised for final test

With two qualifying places in Group C still to be decided, Real Zaragoza, FK Austria Wien and Club Brugge KV are all seeking to join FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the UEFA Cup's last 32 on Matchday 5 (click here for a rundown of all the sides' qualifying chances).

Villa vow
Zaragoza currently lie second on six points and another point will suffice against Brugge. The Spanish side travel to Belgium without goalkeeper César Láinez but Álvaro Maior has recovered from a head injury and striker David Villa is looking to overtake Dnipro at the top of the section. "A draw might be enough qualify," the striker said. "But we want to end this stage as leaders."

Balaban blow
Brugge currently lie third, two points behind Zaragoza, but know only a win will ensure them of a place in the last 32. With Boško Balaban injured and Victor suspended, coach Trond Sollied will field Rune Lange and Gert Verheyen in a makeshift attack. Midfield player Serhiy Serebrennikov is also sidelined.

Söndergaard focus
Austria look to have an easier game against an FC Utrecht side that has yet to gain a point, and coach Lars Söndergaard said his team would stick to their own tried-and-tested formula. "We don't care about Utrecht," Söndergaard said. "We have to play our own game."

Rushfeld returns
Sigurd Rushfeld and Kristof Ratajczyk return to the side but Michael Wagner, Fernando Troyansky and goalkeeper Joseph Didulica are all missing through injury, while Markus Kiesenebner and Saša Papac are both suspended. Utrecht have selection problems of their own and youngsters Dwight Tiendalli and Koen van der Biezen have been drafted into the squad after a spate of injuries. Tim Cornelisse is suspended.
