Everything still to play for

Group B: With FC Steaua Bucuresti already qualified, there are four other teams chasing two places.

Everything to play for
With Steaua having completed their fixtures, the four remaining teams come face to face on Thursday with everything to play for. Standard have home advantage against Athletic, as do Parma against Besiktas (click here for a rundown of all the sides' qualifying chances). As far as Standard skipper Eric Deflandre is concerned, Thursday's match offers the opportunity to rebuild their reputation.

'Most important match'
"A victory over Bilbao will put us back on track to regain the prestige we had in the past", he said. "This is the club's most important match for 22 years." Although Uguchi Onyewu returns after a groin injury, Wamberto (calf) is still out, while Gonzague van Dooren (calf) and Karel Geraerts (foot) are both doubtful.

Injury worries
Athletic travel to Belgium with a number of injury worries, but coach Ernesto Valverde is confident that left-back Asier Del Horno and midfielder Tiko will be fit. Fran Yeste, Aitor Karanka and Javier Casas should be available too.

At a crossroads
Parma's season, meanwhile, has reached a crossroads and new coach Pietro Carmignani will field his strongest possible team against Besiktas, ditching the rotation system used by Silvio Baldini, who was sacked on Monday. Marco Marchionni and Domenico Morfeo are both out, though, while Sébastien Frey missed training on Wednesday having played in Tuesday's anti-poverty charity match in Madrid. Parma, UEFA Cup winners twice in the 1990s, have to win to qualify, but will find Besiktas tough opponents.

Besiktas confident
Besiktas president Yildirim Demirören said: "We are confident, we believe we can win but if we don't then it's not the end of the world." Besiktas are enjoying a far better domestic campaign than Parma, but arrive in Italy without suspended midfielder Ali Günes, John Carew (ankle) and Ronaldo Guiaro, who is still not fit after recovering from a broken arm.
