Ashley Cole is expected to miss both legs of Chelsea FC's UEFA Europa League quarter-final tie after joining Gary Cahill on the sidelines.
England left-back Cole suffered a hamstring problem midway through the first half of Monday's FA Cup last-eight victory over Manchester United FC. Chelsea manager Rafael Benítez confirmed the 32-year-old faces a two-week absence, a similar prognosis to centre-back Cahill's as he struggles with a knee complaint. That would rule the pair out of Chelsea's home first leg against FC Rubin Kazan on Thursday and next week's return trip to Russia.
