Teemu Tainio, HJK midfielder
This was a great birthday present for me. Of course we hoped to win this game and winning it like this tastes extra sweet. I have been in a similar position many times, but on the other side, and it feels great for once to be on the winning team with a bit of luck. Actually we played very well in the first half and created quite a lot of chances, but I have to admit things were different in the second. We have now won two straight matches and will go for a third one in the final game. We will fight until the end, that I can promise.

Rasmus Schüller, HJK midfielder
It is not often it goes like this for a Finnish team. I have to admit we were on the ropes in the second half, København pressed really hard. They eventually got the goal, but somehow we were able to create one more chance and scored. It feels great, maybe it was not fully deserved, but it was great. We played well at home and showed again that we can beat anyone here. This was a special match, particularly for me as it was my first group stage game after finally recovering from injury.

Andreas Cornelius, København forward
We did not have a good first half, but the second half was much better. We created – and missed – a lot of chances. I think we should have scored at least two from the chances we had. I feel frustrated now. I had some chances myself, whether it was bad luck or just a lack of ability, I do not know. I still feel I did the right things on the pitch, so maybe I was a little bit unlucky, but that doesn't help now.

Stephan Andersen, København goalkeeper
We had six or seven big chances in the second half, but we just didn't take them. When we then finally managed to score, they came back and scored the winner. This is big disappointment for us. We came here to get three points, but it didn't work out for us like that today. Of course we knew that HJK are a decent team and the pitch here is different from what we are used to, but above all we are very disappointed now.
