Márcio Nobre blow for Beşiktaş

Beşiktaş JK will be without striker Márcio Nobre for their next two UEFA Cup group stage matches with knee ligament damage.

The Brazilian was hurt early in the 0-0 draw with Turkish Süper Lig strugglers Sakaryaspor on Sunday. A scan confirmed the extent of the injury to his left leg, and he will be out for at least a month. That will rule the 25-year-old out of the trip to FC Dinamo 1948 Bucuresti tomorrow night and the home game against Club Brugge KV on 29 November. Some better news for Beşiktaş is the return of midfielder Koray Avcı after three weeks out with a shoulder injury. Beşiktaş opened their UEFA Cup group-stage campaign with a 2-0 home defeat against Tottenham Hotspur FC last month.
