Contractual clause

Heartbreaking end
Jofre began his career at FC Barcelona's youth academy and joined Levante in 2002. The team were promoted to the top flight in 2003/04 and last term Jofre made 27 appearances, scoring twice, before Levante were relegated back to the Segunda División on the last day of the season.
Wednesday medical
The player will undergo a medical at Espanyol's headquarters on Wednesday before being unveiled to the press. Jofre is the Catalan club's second summer recruit following the recent arrival of Brazilian midfielder Eduardo Costa.
