S.S. Lazio have signed Bosnia and Herzegovinia international left-back Senad Lulić from Swiss side BSC Young Boys, for a fee believed to be around €3m.
The 25-year-old has committed until summer 2016 with the Rome side, who finished fifth in Serie A last season to earn a place in the 2011/12 UEFA Europa League play-offs. Nicknamed Speedy, Lulić has spent his entire professional career in Switzerland, representing AC Bellinzona and Grasshopper-Club before moving to Berne last summer.
"It has been a long day for me," said Mostar-born Lulić, who can also play in midfield. "A dream is coming true. I will play for a top Serie A club and live in a wonderful city like Rome. I'm here to provide good crosses for our strikers and score some goals."
