Yaman realises Galatasaray dream

Galatasaray SK have signed Turkish international left-back Volkan Yaman from relegated Antalyaspor.

'Childhood dream'
The Munich-born 24-year-old, capped three times by Turkey, has made the switch in return for an undisclosed fee and Galatasaray's third-choice goalkeeper Fevzi Elmas. Yaman, who left TSV 1860 München for Antalya in 2004, can also play as a winger and said: "To play for Galatasaray is my childhood dream. I feel very excited and happy." Galatasaray enter the UEFA Cup in the second qualifying round.
