FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk have signed Ukrainian Under-21 international midfield player Vitaliy Komarnitskiy.
Versatile player
The versatile 22-year-old, who can play in defence or midfield, has signed a short-term deal with the Ukrainian club as they prepare to start their UEFA Cup campaign with a qualifying tie against Liechtenstein's FC Vaduz on 14 and 28 August.
Squad balance
"We have signed him for six months hoping he will help balance our squad," said Dnipro coach Yevhen Kucherevskyi, whose side have made a bright start in the Ukrainian Premier League, winning their first four games.
International career
Komarnitskiy was in the Ukraine team that reached the final of the UEFA European Under-18 Championship in 2000 and has since won 18 U21 caps. He has played in Israel for Hapoel Ironi Rishon FC, Maccabi Acco FC and FC Ashdod.
