Jonathan De Guzmán, Napoli midfielder
It was fantastic to score a hat-trick. We had to do something special after being beaten 2-0 in Switzerland and we managed to do it. We showed how good we are. Now I would also like to play some more minutes in Serie A, even if I always accept the coach's choices.
We're growing as team and there are still many games ahead of us to show my skills. Now we have a great chance to get through to the round of 32. Winning by three goals was our aim and it was pivotal to achieve it.
Rafael Benítez, Napoli coach
I'm happy with our performance and we have a lot of confidence which helps us to play well. I rotated many players from the last Serie A match as we have a complete squad with lads who can replace any team-mates. We knew we had to win by three goals because it was very important in the head-to-head tie-breaker.
Steve von Bergen, Young Boys defender
It was a different game from that one we had two weeks ago in Berne. We knew that and we took on a great team who scored three goals. We can only regret creating so few chances – our first shot on goal was on 84 minutes.
A team like us can lose at Napoli, it's not a tragedy. We're neither Milan nor Juventus, even if we did a great job beating the Azzurri 2-0 [at home]. Now we need to win the next two games against Slovan Bratislava and Sparta Praha. I also hope Napoli can take something in Prague so our task will be possible.
