Seedings set for draw

The seedings have been released for Friday's UEFA Europa League play-off draw, which takes place in Nyon from 13.00CET, with Iceland's Stjarnan and Kazakhstan's FC Aktobe lining up alongside FC Internazionale Milano, Tottenham Hotspur FC and Olympique Lyonnais. The draw will be streamed live in the UEFA.com DrawCentre, opening at 11.00CET.

Draw procedure
Groups 1-5
• All the clubs within the five ten-team groups are ordered randomly and identified by a number: 1 to 5 for the seeded sides and 6 to 10 for the unseeded.

• Two bowls will be prepared, one containing the balls with slips of paper numbered 1 to 5 for the seeded teams and the other containing the balls with slips of paper numbered 6 to 10 for the unseeded.

• A ball will be taken from each bowl and placed in an empty bowl in the middle, where they will be shuffled. One of the two balls is drawn at random, then opened to display the number (i.e. club) it contains, playing at home in the first leg. The second ball is drawn to complete the pairing. The result of this draw applies for all five groups.

• The same procedure is carried out with the remaining balls to complete all the pairings.

Group 6
There are 12 teams in this group; all the clubs are ordered randomly and identified by a number: 1 to 6 for the seeded sides and 7 to 12 for the unseeded. The draw is then made in the same fashion as for the previous groups.

Note: Legia Warszawa have replaced Celtic FC in the draw due to a UEFA disciplinary decision.

Seedings: The teams are split into six groups for the draw (five of ten and one of 12). Within the groups, an equal number of sides are seeded and unseeded in accordance with the club rankings established at the start of the season.
