When and where is the draw?
The draw begins at 13:00CET on Friday 23 February. It takes place at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.
How will the draw work?
It is an open draw with no seeding or country protection. Based on decisions taken by the UEFA Executive Committee, though, teams from Russia and Ukraine cannot be drawn together so the first pairing to be drawn will be the one involving Dynamo Kyiv.
The ball containing Dynamo Kyiv will be placed in a bowl, and a ball will then be selected from another bowl containing the 12 eligible teams. That ball is then placed in the large bowl with Dynamo Kyiv to complete the first pairing. Teams drawn first are at home in the first leg.
The three Russian teams will then be added to the 11 remaining teams. The balls will be drawn one after another to form the pairings.
How can you follow the draw?
The draw will be streamed live on UEFA.com, with coverage throughout the day on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
When are the ties?
In principle, games will be played on Thursdays 8 and 15 March at 19:00CET and 21:05CET, with the exact schedule confirmed after the draw. The teams drawn first will be at home in the first legs.
