AC Milan have set a new record attendance for UEFA Europa League qualifying with 65,763 spectators watching their third qualifying round second leg against Craiova.
That crowd at San Siro surpassed the previous total of 65,190 set when Borussia Dortmund played Wolfsberg at the same stage in the 2015/16 competition. In terms of the UEFA Europa League overall, the 80,465 who turned out to see Tottenham Hotspur play Gent in the round of 32 second leg in February remains a competition high.
