Feyenoord aim to turn tables
Third-placed Feyenoord know their task in this Group A decider: beat leaders Fenerbahçe by two goals and they progress to the knockout stage. Coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst, whose side lost 1-0 in Istanbul, said: "The home match against Fenerbahçe will be a good game. It is clear what we have to do, and it gives us confidence that we are still unbeaten at home." The Dutch club can only hope that visiting coach Dick Advocaat, who last spring worked successfully as an adviser to Van Bronckhorst, doesn't have too much inside information.

Group B honours at stake
APOEL midfielder Nuno Morais expects "a great atmosphere" when his team face Greek heavyweights Olympiacos to settle first and second place in Group B. "It will be interesting given the special connection between Cyprus and Greece," he told UEFA.com of the Piraeus club's visit. "We're delighted to have qualified for the knockout stage but we are determined to finish first." APOEL, surprise 2011/12 UEFA Champions League quarter-finalists, need a draw clinch top spot.

Dundalk's season finale
Their domestic season complete, Irish champions Dundalk have turned to friendly opposition to prepare them for one last shot at glory in Group D. In fact Dundalk, third in their group, have had over 50 matches since March and according to fitness coach Graham Byrne, the biggest challenge is just keeping players fresh. "We are trying to ensure the lads stay sharp. We haven't lost a lot of fitness and we are not going to, we are training every day." No Irish side have ever graced the knockout stages of a UEFA club competition.

Can Qarabağ break Azerbaijan's knockout duck?
Qarabağ lost 5-1 in Florence on matchday two but the rematch could be a tighter affair. Not long after that first meeting the Azerbaijani side embarked on a run of seven successive wins and clean sheets, and though the sequence ended with a chastening loss at Liberec a fortnight ago, there's nothing like beating your biggest rivals to get the blood pumping again. Qarabağ trailed Gabala until the 87th minute last week – they won 2-1, supplanting their opponents at the summit. With Fiorentina all but through, they have a real chance.

Saints aspire to go marching on
Southampton looked set to breeze through their maiden UEFA Europa League campaign when they took four points without conceding in their opening two games, but their situation remains uncertain as they welcome the Israeli champions. The teams are level on seven points and vying for one remaining round of 32 slot in Group K. "With Inter finishing bottom, that shows it's tough," said manager Claude Puel. Midfielder James Ward-Prowse added: "We are still in with a chance of qualifying and that's what we all want."

Who will blink first in Group L?
"When we began our UEFA Europa League campaign we set our sights on reaching the group stage," says Osmanlıspor captain Numan Çürüksu. "Then, when we got there, we set sights on the knockout stages. Anything is possible for us." Indeed it is. The Turkish newcomers need a point against Zürich to guarantee a last-32 spot but that is no given – the Swiss side can still go through themselves in a section where one point separates all four teams. With Villarreal and Steaua in the mix, too, Group L may come down to who can hold their nerve.
