Liverpool look set to name a familiar XI, though Jürgen Klopp has a few options on the bench, while Sevilla could repeat an attacking ploy that has brought success before.

Liverpool: Mignolet; Clyne, Lovren, Touré, Moreno; Lallana, Can, Milner; Firmino, Sturridge, Coutinho.
Out: Rossiter (hamstring), Gomez (knee), Sakho (suspended)
Doubtful: Origi (ankle/foot)

The Reds' back five pretty much selects itself, but who plays in front of them is up for debate. Club captain Jordan Henderson returned to action on Saturday following five weeks out with a knee problem, and looks set for a place on the bench alongside Divock Origi (subject to a late fitness test) and possibly Joe Allen. Jürgen Klopp may well go with the same starting XI to the side that beat Villarreal 3-0 last time out in this competition.

Sevilla: David Soria; Mariano, Rami, Carriço, Escudero; Krychowiak, N'Zonzi; Coke, Banega, Vitolo; Gameiro.
Out: Krohn-Dehli (knee), Trémoulinas (knee)

Unai Emery is set to take a bit of a gamble on the ploy that worked so well against Shakhtar Donetsk in the last four by pushing Coke into midfield with Mariano slotting in at right-back. Benoît Trémoulinas's injury means Sergio Escudero gets the nod on the left side of defence. In goal Sergio Rico, today included in Spain's UEFA EURO 2016 squad, is set for the bench, with Unai Emery placing his faith in David Soria, ever-present in this competition. Soria was playing in Spain's third tier a few months back.
