Liverpool showed few ill effects from their dramatic UEFA Europa League quarter-final win against Dortmund as they ended their week with another victory – in contrast to last-four rivals Villarreal. There was joy too for Shakhtar Donetsk in a local derby, while holders Sevilla were held.
