- Dortmund and Porto have never met in European competition.
- Olympiacos won 3-0 and 3-1 against Anderlecht in the 2013/14 UEFA Champions League group stage.
- European debutants Augsburg play three-time UEFA Cup and five-time European Cup winners Liverpool.
