Serhiy Rebrov, Dynamo Kyiv coach
Fiorentina are a very good team regardless of big defeats in their last two games. We have to remember that they were playing some great football before then. Even when they were 3-0 down at the weekend they were still trying to keep the ball and use every opportunity to mount an attack.
I remember Vincenzo Montella as a great striker, a legend at Roma. It's a pity we never met on a football pitch. Time will decide our value as coaches. We are committed to our work and we'll see what happens.
We don't often play against teams with three-man defences but I hope our players will use the information we gave them. Most teams are focused on how not to concede at home but we will not play defensively in front of our fans. It's not our style. We have to attack and build a good advantage for the return.
Vincenzo Montella, Fiorentina coach
We have come here with a big ambition so it's nonsense to say we might underestimate Dynamo. On the contrary – we know Dynamo are a well-balanced team with quality players in every department. I have a lot of respect for Serhiy Rebrov: we are the same age and he has already had success as a coach.
We are not happy with our recent results. Some of it is mental and we also have fitness problems. Most importantly we know the reasons for our dip and now we have a chance to show it. We'll do what we can to take our first step towards the semi-finals.

Expert predictions
Igor Linnyk: Dynamo are the most prolific side still in the tournament so expect first-leg goals in Kyiv. However, the outcome of the tie may hinge on how many Dynamo concede at home rather than how many they score.
Paolo Menicucci: The Viola are unbeaten in 11 European away matches and instead of sitting back they will try to score some potentially vital away goals. If they manage that, they will have a good chance to complete their task in Tuscany.
