Samba says Dinamo 'clearly the better team'

We played well in the first half, but at one stage we lost focus and conceded a soft goal. After this, we knew we had to score and try and get the victory as nothing else would do. The whole team was fantastic. Of course we knew that the quicker we could equalise, the more chances we would have to score a second. The supporters really helped to push us forward. I think our first goal was the key moment of the match. To score so quickly after the break really helped us a lot.

At the start of the second half, the ball came towards me and I hit it first time as hard as I could and the goalkeeper could not keep it out. This is my first goal for Dinamo. We dominated the first half and controlled the encounter. We created a fair amount of chances, but we just couldn't take them. During the break, our coach told us that we should carry on playing the way we were and we would definitely score and then the game would become more open.

In the first game, we played with a bit of uncertainty and showed signs of a lack of match sharpness. We went back to what we know best and we moved the ball forward quickly and kept it well. They were very lucky as they scored with the only shot they had on goal all game. After half-time, we continued to play our game and it was clear we were the superior team. Sometimes you are not rewarded, but today we were rewarded because of the way we played.

Competitively, I don't think we were worse than Dinamo, but they were just more efficient. In the first leg I think we needed to score one or two goals but we didn't and here Dinamo scored three goals after two of our mistakes. We weren't focused enough and that was very tough for us because we came under a lot of pressure afterwards. We still had a chance when the score was 2-1, but we did not manage to score.

It was a pity because today we had no luck. In the second half, we came out of the dressing room and after just one minute it was already 1-1 due to what I think was a lucky shot. They got two lucky goals, but that is football. Maybe we were not sharp enough in the tackle at some stages of the game.

We have some young talents who have proven themselves during this campaign, but it ends now and that is a pity. Now we have our domestic league and the Belgian Cup to concentrate on.
