Serhiy Rebrov, Dynamo coach
It was a very hard game and I want to thank my players for fighting until the end and getting a positive result for us. We had a lot of chances in the second half and should have killed the game off much earlier, but all is well that ends well. I'm also very grateful to more than 50,000 fans who came to the stadium and supported us so well as it really helped us.

Teo [Lukasz Teodorczyk] had a great game. He is a wonderful player who always gives his best in training, even if he doesn't play regularly. I respect him greatly for that. At our winter training camp I saw his desire and commitment, as well as seeing hard work from Artem Kravets, Vitaliy Buyalskiy and 19-year-old Yevhen Chumak, who made his first-team debut. They all deserved to be on the pitch tonight.

After we scored our second, Guingamp had to open up and attack more, allowing us more space, which made it easier for us. The end of the match was nervous but we managed to get the result. I don't have any preferences for tomorrow's draw – we will be ready for any opponent. I think Dynamo deserve to go much further in this competition, but our main ambition is just to win the next game.

Olexandr Shovkovskiy, Dynamo captain
The most important thing is that we showed character and went through to the next round. We were in a very difficult situation, missing a lot of key players, and to make matters worse we lost Miguel Veloso early in the first half. But we knew what we needed and put all our efforts into getting a positive result. I want to thank all our fans who supported us in a fantastic manner – they were our 12th player and gave us what we lacked in France.

I'm very happy that I scored the first goal and won the penalty, but what makes me even happier is that we won and got past Guingamp into the next round. The support from my team-mates and the fans was really great and I want to thank everybody who helped me tonight.

Jocelyn Gourvennec, Guingamp coach
We were off balance in the first half and at the beginning of the second, which was the main reason we conceded the two goals. There were some misunderstandings between our players, but we came back into the game after our goal, and we hoped to build on that. Unfortunately, they scored from the penalty and won on aggregate.

We were close [to a second goal] – that's why I'm disappointed. We are out, which means our gameplan didn't work, but I hope we will be back in this tournament next season and will be able to go further. Dynamo had great supporters, who pushed them to attack all the time. I think that was important for Dynamo, and it helped them. In my opinion, Dynamo are very strong team who can go really far in this competition.
