Round of 32 draw takes place in Nyon at 13.00CET on 15 December

Uli Forte, Young Boys coach
As we knew, Sparta were a very strong team. Especially in the first half they played great combination football. Yvon Mvogo's display was sublime, he kept us in the game which was very important. We've seen in the second half that my team wanted victory and finally, we got there.

The most important moment in my opinion was the great save from Mvogo near the end, when he diverted that header around the post. The second goal was just the icing on the cake. It was hard work and I'm glad we were able to get over the line.

Renato Steffen, Young Boys midfielder
It was a very emotional game with a fortunate end for us. We said to ourselves by half-time that it's still possible. We've already scored late winners in the past– that's what gave us great confidence. This victory is a great Christmas present.

Raphaël Nuzzolo, Young Boys midfielder
It's our seventh win in a row and we're all a bit tired now. It's been unbelievable, I'm very proud of the team. It wasn't easy tonight, on the contrary, it was very hard work. Even if Sparta is not very well known here in Switzerland, we always knew they are a top Czech team. That makes it even better.

Florent Hadergjonaj, Young Boys defender
First of all I'm very glad for still being in the Europa League. We've played a great game and it was a bit emotional too. It's one of these magic nights for us. We've had a lot of good opportunities and at the end I'd say the victory is well deserved.

Marek Štěch, Sparta goalkeeper
I am really disappointed as I feel I could have saved the penalty. I just needed that little bit more, I dived the right way and I just could not get enough of a hand on it. I am really sorry about that. The opponents had their chances, I saved them, that was my task, but then the converted penalty decided the match. I am tremendously disappointed, we came here to win but were prepared for a difficult game. We did not achieve what we wanted, I am really heartbroken now.

Jakub Brabec, Sparta defender
Young Boys were decent opponents, they created chances, but we were able to keep them out for a long time. We felt David Lafata's absence, but Tomáš Přikryl did not play badly. He and the midfielders got into good positions, but we failed to score. The battle for qualification was really close, especially as we were the better side in the first half. But we did not score and that was decisive.
