Atiba Hutchinson, Beşiktaş midfielder
It was a good game for us. We controlled the game and set the tempo, dictating the match from the very beginning. It was a good all-around performance for the team – we created a lot of chances and were fortunate to score four goals and not concede any.
The atmosphere in the stadium was fantastic. We were talking about it after the game. Partizan have fantastic supporters behind them no matter what the score is. Support like that is amazing to witness.
Milan Lukač, Partizan goalkeeper
There is no shame in losing to such a classy team, but it was a painful evening – no doubt. I have to thank the fans who came out to support us in such great numbers despite the weather.
Our job is to focus on the league now. We need to get over this result and continue our winning streak on the domestic scene.
We made a lot of individual mistakes tonight, especially in midfield, and it was after these mistakes that we conceded. As we've seen in Europe, more experienced teams than Partizan have also lost by big scorelines and we need to keep our heads held high.
Petar Škuletić, Partizan forward
Beşiktaş were too powerful for us tonight, dominating throughout the entire match, and there is no doubt they deserved the win. We can come out of the match without any regrets, except possibly that chance we had in the first half to make it 1-1. Other than that we were outplayed – 4-0 is never a result to be proud of, but [Beşiktaş] were the better team by far.
