Craig Gordon, Celtic goalkeeper
It was a massive result for us. We want to win all our home games. We played some really good football against a good team. They created quite a few chances. It was a difficult game but one we are quite happy to come out on top in.
Going into this game, I thought I might have to pull off a few saves. We had watched a lot of their footage and some of their forward play was excellent, so I had a fair idea I might have to pull off a few saves to get a result, and luckily I managed to do that.
It gives platform to go into the next game here at home against Astra and we need to win that one as well to put us in a strong position. We're happy with the start we've made but there's still a long way to go.
Virgil van Dijk, Celtic defender
Craig Gordon had a great game and I thought it was a great first half from us also. We got off to a great start with a fantastic goal from Kris [Commons] who combined well with [Anthony] Stokes. It's very important to win our home games and now we want to keep that run going here at Celtic Park with our next game. They put us under a lot of pressure in the second half but we held out thanks to some good defending and goalkeeping from Craig.
Ronny Delia, Celtic manager
Craig was unbelievable. We have him to thank for conceding zero goals and winning the game. Celtic have had good goalkeepers in the past and that is important. It is an important place to have good players. He was a prospect to come in before I was the manager, but I knew he was a fantastic goalkeeper who was out for a long time with injury. He can't do much better than he has shown. He can work on his kicking but he is a fantastic keeper and very calm.
I thought we started the game very well and had some good pressure. We scored a fantastic goal, so I thought the first half was very good and we created more chances than them. However, in the second half I thought we tired and we couldn't keep up the pressure or retain possession, but in the end it was a fantastic team spirit that got us the result.
Josep Šimunić, Dinamo defender
We are very disappointed. I think we deserved at least a point but whether we deserved it or not we haven't got the three points – they have. But I think the way we played here gives us a lot of confidence going into the rest of the games in this group. It's difficult to play here at Celtic Park and I am now looking forward to the next two games against Salzburg. They will be the key for us and determine whether we get further or not.
[Kris Commons's goal] was a very cheap goal to concede – a nice goal from them but that's football. We had a lot of chances after that but couldn't score. The only thing that's missing from tonight's performance was some goals and some points. Their goalkeeper had a great game. Respect to him for playing so well.
Zoran Mamić, Dinamo coach
I am disappointed because when you look at the 90 minutes in this game we were the better team. But football is about playing for goals and we didn't score and in this way congratulations to Celtic.
