Danilo, Fernando and goalscorer Jackson Martínez shared their delight with UEFA.com after FC Porto's 1-0 UEFA Europa League round of 16 first-leg defeat of SSC Napoli, whose Uruguay defender Miguel Britos still believes his team will turn the tie around next Thursday.

Danilo, Porto defender
This result is a good advantage for us. It was a very tough match against a team with a lot of individual and collective strength. Our players showed that they are focused and that they know exactly what they want. We could have scored one or two more goals, but that doesn't mean this is not a positive outcome.

We may have won, but we know the tie is far from being decided. We boast a good advantage, but we still have to play another 90 minutes to seal a place in the quarter-finals. Now we have to prepare so we can go there and give 110% in order to win the match and qualify.

Fernando, Porto midfielder
It is a positive result because we managed to achieve one of our main objectives, which was not to concede a goal. They had a couple of chances to score, but we could also have scored more goals.

We are fully aware that the second leg of the tie will be very difficult, particularly because Napoli are usually very strong when they play at their stadium in front of their fans. However, we are confident about our capabilities and we will give everything we have in order to advance. They have a very good team, but I'm certain we will manage to qualify.

Jackson Martínez, Porto forward
My goal was an important one, but above all we have to praise the strength of our team and the dedication we showed on the pitch in order to fulfil the strategy our coach had for this match. We were very strong tonight. We could have scored another goal, but then again they also had opportunities to score.

We played with the intensity we wanted and the way Porto are used to playing. We gave a great effort and managed to play an outstanding match. Napoli made things very hard for us in the dying stages of the first half and had more possession after the break. We are very happy with this result, but our job is only half done. We will give everything to go through.

Miguel Britos, Napoli defender
We did not play the way we wanted to, especially in the first half, where we struggled to deal with Porto. We improved after the break and we could even have scored before we conceded. Obviously we are not happy with this result, but then again we must not forget that Porto are a team used to playing in the UEFA Champions League and they have a lot of quality.

I believe we can turn this tie around because we will play the second leg at our stadium. We have enough quality to do that and, of course, the support from our fans will also be very important if we are to achieve that goal. Everything is wide open in this tie, but I fully believe we will prevail and advance to the last eight.
