Juventus have snared Pablo Osvaldo from Southampton FC, the 28-year-old agreeing a loan switch until the end of the season.
The striker only left AS Roma for Southampton last August in a deal worth up to €17m, but has since been restricted to 13 Premier League outings. Osvaldo, capped 12 times by Italy, began his career with CA Huracán in 2005 and joined Atalanta BC less than 12 months later before spells at US Lecce, ACF Fiorentina and Bologna FC.
It was not until 2010, that Osvaldo came of age, registering 20 times in 44 league appearances during an 18-month stay at RCD Espanyol. An impressive return of 27 goals from 55 Serie A games over two seasons at Roma followed.
Antonio Conte's charges face Trabzonspor AŞ in the UEFA Europa League round of 32 with the first leg in Turin on 20 February.
